The Patent Pending idea was born in October 2003, when Darlene Saal moved into a new home and found business cards in the kitchen drawer. Darlene thought, I should keep these cards and use them when the time arises. She placed the cards in a card holder and then the idea came to her, All homeowners need a business card holder with local business cards when they move into a new home, and local businesses need affordable advertising that gets to people in their area. Darlene put her new idea in motion.

Darlene searched the internet and the United States Patent Office to find a business with her same idea, but nothing came close. So, she filed the Patent paperwork in September 2006.
The Business Card Holder^® is now officially Patent Pending.
